Resono Pro v2.0: Advanced Vocal Warm-Up Tool & SOVT Training System for Singers
Resono Pro v2.0 is an advanced vocal warm-up tool and SOVT training system designed to unlock the full potential of your voice. Built for singers and professional voice users, it combines the proven science of semi-occluded vocal tract (SOVT) singing straw training with a fully modular design that delivers precision, flexibility, and real results.
With over 40 adjustable resistance configurations in a single device, the Resono Pro adapts to your voice and your goals. Whether you’re warming up before a performance, reducing vocal strain, rebuilding stamina after fatigue, or refining technique in the studio, it provides a level of control that basic singing straws and fixed-resistance tools simply can’t match.
Physics Meets Voice Science
The Resono Pro is a revolutionary vocal development tool designed for singers, actors, and voice professionals seeking to enhance their vocal performance. With over 40 adjustable resistance configurations, this device offers a personalised training experience that adapts to your unique vocal needs
Advanced Features & Accessories
The Resono Pro v2.0 comes with everything you need for professional vocal training and development
Resono
The original "singing straw", the Resono features a fully adjustable telescopic body for elongation of the vocal tract (to generate resonance boosting). Plus over 12 native resistance configurations from one device. There's no need to use multiple 'singing straws' to free your voice.
Resono Go
The Resono Go (Pro version) is a specialised wearable designed to be durable and lightweight so you can have your Resono easily accessible when in lessons*. Plus, it's fully compatible with all the attachments for extended functionality.
VARA 2.0
Dynamically shift resistances throughout a vocal task by twisting the control dial to cycle through 8 new apertures. The VARA v2.0 is super lightweight for use with the Resono Go, and is compatible with all Resono versions.
Spinner
The Spinner attachment is designed to help you visualise and train your respiratory output. The Spinner rises and falls with your breath, as well as increases/decreases in speed to give you an exact 1:1 measure of your output.
Alignment
Align your head/neck position and maximise the therapeutic benefits of water bubbling with the v2.0 Alignment attachment. It has two detachable sections for your mouth shape, and can be used with the mouth piece.
Comfort
The mouth piece has been designed for those with sensory issues, and it also features a unique flared end for a better seal against the lips. It's made from high quality medical grade-silicone.

Why Adjustable Matters
Compare the resistance range of different SOVT tools
The chart above visualises the range of resistance that different types of straw can provide. Most have a fixed resistance due to their fixed aperture and length, but the Resono is dynamic and can change resistance.
Having an adjustable resistance system allows for more precise control over vocal load, just like adjusting weights at the gym.
How It Works
Understanding the science behind SOVT and straw phonation
Small but MIGHTY
From one small device comes so much power. With our patented variable aperture, you get a huge back-pressure range, from 1.5 cmH₂O to 30+ cmH₂O.
This is the equivalent of carrying dozens of different straws in your pocket.
What does back-pressure do?
Back-pressure is the gentle cushion of air that builds up above the vocal folds when the vocal tract is partially closed by a straw.
That extra pressure helps to lower phonation-threshold pressure (the effort needed to start the folds vibrating) and reduces collision forces each time they meet.
The net effect is easier onset, more stable tone, and a lower risk of fatigue or injury.
Resistance, visualised.
We've run 1000s of simulations exploring the vocal benefits of our devices, and we've built a brand new mathematical model that allows us to accurately determine the back-pressure offered by any configuration of the Resono, singing straw, or regular straw.
The Benefits
Sing like never before
Rayvox tools are designed to help you train your voice, and reach new vocal heights, build muscle strength, coordination, and efficiency that lasts a lifetime.
You can truly build the voice you want: eliminate voice cracks, achieve better vocal fold closure, avoid strain and vocal tension, improve your breath control, and sustain notes for longer and more efficiently. All from one device.
You can even do it on the train!
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Resono Pro v2.0
he Pro Kit version of the Resono Go is not designed to be worn all day, it’s designed to be quickly and easily accessible during your sessions. To prevent you losing any of the pieces, we strongly recommend using the Resono Go only when in lessons / warming up when stationary.
Problem: Lowers back-pressure and defeats the purpose.
Fix: Seal lips firmly around the straw and pinch the nose closed to check flow.
Problem: Adds constriction and raises effort.
Fix: Keep jaw neutral and cheeks relaxed.
Problem: One size doesn’t fit all ranges/dynamics.
Fix: Match resistance to the goal and don’t be afraid to increase or decrease as your voice demands.
Problem: Might cause excess tension or build too much pressure.
Fix: Relax/back off the flow. You can try using some water or the Spinner to visualise the output.
